How We Began:

  • Concept started in 2013

  • Researched how we needed to start up on South Carolina

  • Worked with various state agency to find a path to bring mead to South Carolina

  • Living in Bluffton, we looked at options where best to put the meadery, Bluffton’s growth fit well with our business plan

  • Faith that Bluffton would become thriving area of growth and it is

  • The demographics lend itself to craft beverages like mead

  • Started making mead and cider shortly after
